Tom sat beside Loki in the cinema that was buzzing with the sounds of people nattering as the film started,
“I don’t understand the point of this, Hiddleston.”
“It’s so that you can actually have fun, Loki. I’ve never seen you just once sit down and enjoy yourself.”
“I enjoy trying to plague the existence of my enemies.”
“That doesn’t count.” Tom said as he leaned back, placing each arm on either side of the armrest. They began watching the movie; The Deep Blue Sea. Throughout the movie though, Loki continued to yell at the screen,
“Hiddleston what are you doing?”
“That’s not me, that’s acting… It’s me in character as Freddie.”
“I see… Hiddleston, you should kill that woman if she wishes to die.”
“No no, Loki, have some compassion for the character. Freddie wouldn’t kill a woman like that, in fact, he blames himself, it’s quite the internal conflict.”
“But would you kill that woman?”
“No, of course not.” He replied, shaking his head.
During the movie, the sad scenes occurred and Loki’s eyes were fixed on Freddie’s facial expression as he left the room for the final time, “I am not crying, I am just… This popcorn is spicy.” He said loudly.
Tom looked over at him, it was somewhat endearing to see the god of mischief brought to tears, and he felt humbled by it. It was his acting, after all, along with a beautifully written script.
“Yes Loki?” He replied, getting frustrated with the amount of questions throughout the movie, even the audience were at this point.
“Why is there no pudding in this movie?”
Tom smiled and couldn’t help but laugh, “I’ll be sure to ask the director to include pudding next time.”
