A ROMANTIC EDUCATION - STEVE/TONY AU [CHAPTER 16] 

“Okay, so it’s an experiment, just… making that clear.” He said, nodding to himself.
“I’m fine with this…” Tony said eagerly. He just wanted to feel Steve against him again, though he wasn’t sure what they would do. Normally Tony would make the first move and lead, as the other person was a girl. Now, they were both looking at each other awkwardly. Tony didn’t want to let Steve take his pride either, so he waited to see.
“Just an experiment…” He said again, repeating it to himself which was seemingly a trait of his which did show some sort of insecurity within him. He leaned forward again, brushing his lips lightly against Tony’s and shutting his eyes, just savouring the moment for a while. The millionaire had a distinct smell about him; it was strong, somewhat musky but mainly minty, showing clearly that the boy did value his hygiene which was at least one less thing to worry about.
Tony breathed heavily and crossed his arms around Steve’s back, pulling him back and deeper on the couch. He made sure that they were both in a comfortable position and kissed him back, slowly, his movements matching his. It was so weird but intriguing to him, it felt so different but so nice.
Steve subtly whispered as his lips pulled back from the kiss, but were still inches from Tony’s face, “Just to make it clear, we’re not going to go further okay? Not now, I’m still saving myself for Peggy…” His eyes opened partially to look down at Tony.
“Not going all the way Rogers?” Tony frowned. “Fine, whatever, maybe you’ll change your mind”, he said looking back at him.
“I doubt it…” He replied, “But you’d like that wouldn’t you?” Steve spoke with a smirk, knowing for well and seeing how clear it was that Tony wanted more.
“What’s wrong with that? And don’t think too much of yourself, you’re just good. Not the best, but good”, he said sharply. He wanted more, more than anything; he wouldn’t though let Steve know.
“I’ll show you good. I bet you you’re lying and I’m the best kisser you’ve ever met.” Steve said, once again with his lips close to Tony’s, taunting him and looking as though he was about to kiss him, but just inches away from doing so.
“Why would I lie Rogers?” Tony replied, lifting his head to get closer to Steve. The guy was just teasing him, and that only made Tony to want more. He was indeed starting to show that he had quite the potential.
“To try and get me to prove you wrong, you love annoying me, don’t you?” He asked, arching his sharply shaped eyebrow as he gazed down with his powerful blue eyes, strands of blond hair falling in front of them as he leaned over so close, yet so far.
“Maybe you’re not that dumb after all”, Tony smirked looking back at him. He looked so beautiful like that, he didn’t realize it before. The way he looked down at him was just inviting him to pull him down against him again, but he was resisting that feeling. No, he wouldn’t let Steve know how eager he actually was, he thought shifting nervously.
Steve felt a strange urge to go further, even though Peggy had ‘trained’ him well not to do anything else asides a small kiss on the lips. Every time Steve would go further, or even attempt to, she’d pull away. Though as he leaned down he knew that Tony wanted this, he knew that he held all of the cards now and it was a refreshing change. He leaned down and moved to kiss along Tony’s jawline; trailing down to his neck.
